                store without getting dog-eared [thus reducing their value and investment
                potential]. Some of our subscribers suggested a new-standard large size.
                We discussed it with them and they also indicated they needed an album or
                binder in which to protect them [much like the ones we now sell for
                standard sized FDCs].
 
                     It was about that time we thought a standard 3-ring binder would work
                well and again save money over having a custom binder made for catalog
                envelopes. That’s when we thought about letter size [8 ½ X 11 inch].
